    I think what is shows is that a perception of excess at a position is required for a value-for-value deal to occur. Pitching for the Twins 2013 edition does not qualify. Of course if someone knocks Terry Ryan over with an overweighted deal, no player is untouchable.

    I may keep this avatar a while. I was actually thinking earlier that there is quite a bit in common between the two photos in terms of facial expression, probably going a long way toward explaining why I like them. But at this moment I am envisioning a conversation between the two of them being very one-sided.
