  1. Any mountain bikers in the audience? I'm thinking of getting my first, so I don't have much personal experience to fall back on. One question is wheel size. 26 or 29? (FWIW I'm 6'1" and 185 lb, and have pretty much decided on 21" frame.)
  2. In Arizona slightly roasted is how they are born.
  3. Guerrier's in. Gardy's finally listening to me. / failed to mention which reliever I would prefer, now that I've got his attention
  4. You don't want 'em all dried out. You lose the texture!
  5. His ERA has now dipped below 5.00. You know what that means for the next inning. Maybe Gardy will notice the pitch count and not try to squeeze another inning out of him to "save the bullpen", which, as Chief likes to point out, will not happen anyway when Corriea puts the first two batters on.
  6. Parms is doing his job but the two guys in front and the three guys after are not cooperating.
  7. <crickets> But since they aren't pregnant, I'm not sure they are gourmet enough, so I'll pass.
  8. Since mid-June, Chris Parmelee's 1.188 OPS has been fueled by a .630 BABIP. This looks sustainable, boys, climb on Chris's back again today for another win.
  9. Twelve Delicious Edible Insects "[T]ermites are best eaten after being slightly roasted." Color me re-educated. And Oven-Baked Tarantula, yum - with Pregnant Crickets as a light appetizer. It's my turn to cook tonight, might give this menu a try.
  10. And if current trends continue, by the end of the season Brian Dozier will be batting second and playing second.
  11. I just remembered I have some things to check down in the bomb she^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H basement. See you after the game.
  12. I never heard of eating termites as a metaphor for anything. Remind me not to visit any of the low-end restaurants in Grand Forks.
  13. If the ceiling is high and the consistency at age 16 is the main knock on him, this signing gets +1 from me.
  14. OK. What's Blue and says Oh Bother?
  15. He gave me some of the best laughs of my life, watching my kids enjoy him.
  16. I did. There must be a dirty word that sounds like it.
  17. What's Brown and says Oh Bother? Winnie the Poo.
  18. Yes. We would also have accepted, "center field". Carol Merrill will present you with the Home Version of the game on your way out.
  19. Is it still bitter to say, "hey, I forgot you were even still in the majors," when he gets an RBI late in a 10-2 game?
  20. Considering the context in which Chief offered the metaphor, I'm not sure we want to hear where this one.... goes.
  21. May a crazed Sonoran scorpion make its nest in your drawer of marital aids.
