  1. Oh look. Royce wore a sleeveless hoodie. Cut his a** https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PH9HA-ylFCg&pp=ygUIbW4gdHdpbnM%3D
  2. Okay, so bear with me on this one . . . I know that TD has a connection to KFGO up in Fargo. (Shout out to @NoDakTwinsFan on his latest podcast entry.) Not to mention it's the Twins' radio flagship for the Red River Valley, as well as Dick Bremer and now Cory Provus have been weekly guests on the Jack Michaels Show for years. Jack Michaels (Todd Clark) may not be a familiar name for those not from the area. He's been the long-time radio voice of the FM RedHawks. His signature homerun call has always been, "Track it down, Marge!!!" The story behind that is when Jack hit his first homerun for NDSU, as he was rounding the bases saw his mom, Marge, racing a bunch of kids to "track down" the ball as a memento of the event. Recently Jack's mom passed away. Jack found out while the 'Hawks were in Wichita, KS, but he still called the game that night. After the fact he relayed that before the game one of the players expressed his condolences and said, "Maybe we'll get one for Marge tonight." That very same player hit a homerun in his first at-bat of the game. As he was crossing home plate he pointed up to the press box and then up to the sky. What was the point of all this? I guess to say that baseball and life are funny games. Here is KFGO's tribute to Marge. Here's hoping she's still tracking down homers wherever she is . . .
  3. I wasn't sure if this belonged here or a new thread, but I was curious. I don't have YouTube TV, but what YouTube channels do you regularly follow? -Good Mythical Morning/More -Claire Saffitz's baking channel -Binging with Babish -Team CoCo -Jolly (two British dudes go around the UK and America trying new foods) -Watcher (but I enjoyed Ryan and Shane more back in the ol' Buzzfeed days) -Andrew, Steven, and Adam (ties in with the above channel. They went back to more of the "Is It Worth It?" vibe) -The Try Channel (Irish people try anything from Finnish snacks to moonshine cocktails)
  4. I'm not saying we shouldn't have higher expectations then what is being presented, but put the pitchfork away 🙄
  5. Right? Talk about feast or famine when it comes to fan support
  6. I was listening to the game on my lunchbreak. Kris was talking about how he's come back from TWO Tommy John surgeries. Granted it's not the death knell it used to be, but that takes some tenacity; let alone talent
  7. **sarcasm font** Well, it's better than the all legs swing he used to use in rookie ball
  8. Oof! https://www.startribune.com/ex-twins-pitcher-takes-the-loss-fighting-child-support-claim-by-woman-he-met-while-playing-in-japan/601362511
  9. Anybody want to chip in $5/person? Maybe we could get a deal done by the time the team gets back from playing the A's
  10. Is that a housekeeping joke 'cuz I'm Asian?!? 🤣
  11. Excuse me. Did I give permission to use my birthday party footage?!?
  12. You know TC couldn't afford to make the trip, you insensitive bastard
  13. Not a manager's info but a quote from the man himself
  14. How about some positivity before tonight's game? Audra posted this on IG three days ago. Said she got a little emotional seeing these two. They look to be in good spirits
  15. Classic Memorial Day menu. I'm doing a low and slow marinara sauce. What is everyone else making?
  16. Zach Littell? Shouldn't this go in the "Where Are They Now?" category? 🤣
  17. Oh the fickle nature of "what have you done for me lately?" baseball fans are constantly saddled with.
  18. THANK YOU! When he starts playing better everyone will be back here saying, "Never doubted him for a second" just like when the team went on their 13 game winning streak
