    Cynicism is understandable as a Twins fan, but that's all it is, cynicism. Hope is better than being bitter and jaded. It may not be better but it's definitely less angry. I'm willing to give them a chance and see how it shakes out.

    Yeah, I don't think the sentiment is throw players and management under the bus, of course he's not going to do that. But relate to how the fans are feeling. What's wrong with saying that's not the way we wanted it to end and that's it frustrating because we expected more after such a great year. Even just using the term we conveys that he's not blaming the players, just that all of them are as frustrated as the fan base.

    '02 '06 and 2010 were worse for me. I expected more from those teams and believed they could go deeper. As much fun as I had watching this team and am encouraged for the future, I never really believed that would outplay their pitching in the long run. I will be more crushed next year if they address that and still fall flat on their faces. Haing said that, any loss to the Yankees, especially a sweep, is soul crushing.

    I have much more faith in this teams offense than what they call pitching. This team gets some pitching, it can go places.
