  1. Sorry, came across the wrong way, I was adding on to your comment, poorly.
  2. 7-0 Angels in the 7th. This has been your things aren't as bad as they seem CBU.
  3. And the Gophers weren't? Surely it goes both ways?
  4. 5-0 Angels, yaay! Sincerely Mr. Positive.
  5. Dave, c'mon, the right guy was on the mound at the time. What's your issue with May? He had a rough outing, gonna happen, you know that.
  6. So Duffy has the shutout in tact?
  7. I can't believe Rosario isn't playing, I don't care what arm a pitcher uses, how can you play Hunter instead of him? Ah veteraness, gotta love it. Anyway, win Twins, go Hunter.
  8. I'd play both Sano and Vargas today against the lefty. No way in hell should Hunter start ahead of Rosario, both are in tough against Keuchel anyway, they should play the best defensive outfield they can.
  9. Good thing I was eating a bag of popcorn, the bag came in handy when I started to hyperventilate.
  10. When is Hughes expected back anyway? Is there a date? Too lazy to look it up.
  11. Yes there is, but when you only judge things through the b&w prism of wins and losses it's easy to believe that. TCU is the #2 ranked team in the country, the Gophers aren't even ranked, stop and think about that for a second.
  12. Ugh, Williams fumble out the back of the end zone,a yard away from scoring, so close. If the defense can keep building on that effort they will be a tough test for anyone, but geez Leidner has to get it together.
  13. They didn't need four arms. Nobody believed they would catch KC and it would have taken more than four bullpen arms anyway. They needed one other guy, someone better than Jepsen, as well as Jepsen himself. It would not have cost them any of the guys listed above. Berrios isn't going to be harmed or stunted by being in the pen from August on. He's going to face major league hitters and get a taste of what he's in for, a chance to acclimate. He wouldn't be the first highly regarded pitching prospect to start in the bullpen. If the Twins do that, it's likely that gong show in NY doesn't happen and neither does today. This bullpen was trouble from day 1, professional baseball people should have been able to recognize that.
  14. God I'm sick of this topic, not because it keeps getting brought up, because it still has to be brought up.
  15. C'mon now, let's not get hysterical. Today's loss definitely sucked and should not have happened but they have now won 4 straight series since the implosion in NY. They need 17 wins to get to 86, which should get them there. 2 of 3 from Houston 1 of 3 from KC 2 of 3 from Chicago 2 of 3 from Detroit 3 of 4 from LA 2 of 3 from Cleveland 2 of 3 from Detroit 2 of 4 from Cleveland 1 of 3 from KC 86................easy..............................gulp!
  16. She usually plays like crap in the early rounds does she not? Seems to me she either wins a tournament or flames out early. Who can stop her on the hard court? Nobody I can think of.
  17. Fien is the bullpen's version of Mike Pelfrey, when his luck eventually runs out, he's fricking awful.
  18. True, been there, heard it. Hunter remains a very popular player with a large proportion of ticket buyers.

  20. May should be closing at this point with that stuff.
