    Adrianaza is a glove first guy so he needs to play a position when he plays. Polanco and Sano in the field because (I assume) of desired positional consistency. Escobar... Is the declared utility guy and his bat has been pretty decent and the bench for today is Dozier (Injured?) and left handers Mauer, Kepler and Castro.

    Nobody wants Falvey/Lavine to be reckless or stupid... even if we happen to be pro acquisition in support of a shocking performance in the standings.

    If you are in contention... You're future is here!!! Anybody who ignores a playoff possibility in 2017 because it might screw up a playoff possibility in 2019 shouldn't be in the big boy chair.

    If a collection of ball players surprise everyone and play themselves into contention. A GM should always support them by providing them what they need to finish the job. If he doesn't... he is either too egotistical or too timid for the position. If a GM thought or said... "Good job everyone but you don't have the talent to be doing what you are doing so I'm going to do nothing and wait for your eventual collapse". The GM would be too egotistical for the position and should be removed immediately. If you are in contention and you have a hole. You fill it.

    Nope Polanco makes that play... Tepesch is in the dugout with only 1 run allowed. Maybe he gets killed in the third... maybe he doesn't. We won't know now.

    Escobar is swinging a good bat... I'd play him. But Adrianaza made it town... he had a night of sleep in the hotel. He got some breakfast... took BP and stuff. Polanco hasn't been on fire lately. Tepesch could use a couple of top notch defenders to help him out. And Sale starts tomorrow so I would have given Adrianaza the start over Polanco. But Oh Well.. I never take myself seriously enough to be serious about it.

    Very talented but he was too all or nothing during his career. After he left Arizona... It became a couple years of nothing and very little all and he has been seen as a backup ever since.

    He passed his concussion tests but I think I heard them say that he had a headache yesterday so they are being cautious.
