    Hoping for some help & guidance... Family is headed to Fort Myers in late February for a week vacation, and we plan to take in a Twins spring training game & such. Can anyone provide insight, tips, information, etc. into the best way to experience ST, things to do in Fort Myers, places to eat, etc.? Thank you! Also - if anyone can provide how to fish and golf down there, that would be awesome information too.

    When the Twins signed Parker, all we heard (from the talking heads, on TV, etc.) was how effective and awesome Parker's splitter was...in fact, people went so far as to say his splitter would drastically improve once the weather got warmer and he was able to get a better feel for it. Your typical hyperbole, talking jargon that doesn't amount to much of any substance.

    Exactly. Personally, I never bought into the whole idea that the Twins were all of a sudden going to change their philosophy and go out and get an impact arm(s). You don't set your expectations up for failure, and you don't feel terrible when underwhelm...again.

    The Twins continue to prove they are the biggest frauds in baseball. There is no sugarcoating this - they have failed on EVERY free agent pitcher available that was a likely game changer for the 2020 season. They won't trade away their beloved prospects and they won't go out and sign free agent pitchers. So what are the options? Their hope is to continue finding flash in the pan guys like Dobnak, Thorpe, Smeltzer, etc. and are banking on the rest of the division being garbage. What an absolute failure by this FO so far.
