  1. A win is a win. Buxton out hurts but at least the call-ups are performing.
  2. The Turtle threw out a runner! Let's sweep K.C.!
  3. Hope this continues whoever's in the lineup. Just to get to .500 would be nice.
  4. Great win. A week and a half ago I referenced Sano as an "albatross". A Red Sox friend of mine in MA said he thinks the Twins will release or trade Sano and that then he will turn into *Big Papi, or something. A night like tonight maybe could prevent that fate from being sealed.
  5. This pitching staff is something else.
  6. I really thought Sano would do it in the 9th. #FreePalestine
  7. Something about Sano I like. Would enjoy seeing him turn his season around.
  8. What a dreadful team. Sano, what do you do about an albatross like that? At least, The Turtle is hitting.
  9. Worst possible denouement. Rogers is hopeless, and as soon as I saw *Wadell - I turned off the game. Falvey and Levine failed all of us, and I have no faith that Baldelli will ever make a smart move, do something inventive, motivate the team emotionally. I don't hate the guy like I did Gardenhire, but, they should fire him - he's an incompetent.
  10. It's a win. Kiriloff again! What the hell is wrong with Rogers?
  11. Nice to have another one of these. Good to see Garver hitting HRS. Kiriloff **** My feeling on Sano is to give him another chance.
  12. They won! The Turtle hit one out. The SP pitcher pitched well. *****
  13. Ron Davis was not this heinous. Is Al Worthington still alive?
  14. I had hopes that maybe they could win 2 in a row, but... The Turtle and Cave are the Ruth and Gehrig of this team.
  15. The Turtle and Cave - why not? Happ ***** and Duffy and Rogers for the close, ok.
  16. His monotonous, oleaginous post-game remarks are insipid. He's like a wind-up doll who only utters cheery platitudes. He is a woeful failure in playoff games. He frequently gives the impression he has dopey set rules, no matter the way the game is playing out. There has to be somebody better out there. Someone not afraid to show a little emotion.
  17. He should never have been brought in in the Seattle game. The closer they had in '86 before they got Reardon (Ron Something) was terrible, but I don't remember him being as frightening as Colome'. I don't agree they should let him work out the kinks as the closer.
  18. Cave can't do it. I had hopes for him once, but he just can't hit. Thank you, La Tortuga.
  19. Disbelief that somebody got a hit in the 9th and they pulled this out. Pineda is a good pitcher. Been one since Day 1. Last week I asked what it was gonna take for Sano to focus, clear out the cobwebs from his brain and get into a relaxed state of mind. Maybe somebody gave him an Apache prayer rug and some sage to inhale, because he looked focused. It wouldn't surprise me if Rogers has some kind of mental block too. How can he look so awesome one day and so pitiful the next? ***** Arreaz.
  20. 3 for 42 risp? Never read a more pitiful stat. But, I didn't know Baldelli has weighed in on social justice issues. Don't you have to win for anyone to care what you think about a given issue?
  21. The bullpen and the inept late inning bats are both deficits. I'd also like to see a new manager. He's lackluster, non-creative, couldn't win a playoff game to save his life. I don't know what they saw in him to begin with.
