    Berrios settled down nicely. Although I wouldn't call that performance "tip of the cap" worthy.

    I can't help but be nervous whenever Berrios pitches for the Twins now. He just hasn't seemed like a lock down pitcher lately. I think Twins should shop for an high end pitcher at the deadline. Berrios seems like a #3 or #4 pitcher as of right now.

    3 runs against Tampa is good. It wasn't our offense's fault tonight. If Perez was as sharp as we've grown accustomed to seeing him this year we win this game.

    Anybody remember the four game series against the Astros? They beat us by 11 in 1 game of that series too, but guess what? We won 3 of 4.

    We'll let them have their fun today. 3 fresh games coming up for us the next 3 days. We're gonna win all 3. Also wouldn't surprise me if Littel is sent down on Sunday when Garver comes up.

    Twins have the best offense in the majors, it's the third inning and Charlie Morton isn't immune to bad innings like Perez had. Not done. I'm skeptical of the people calling themselves "fans" if you throw in the towel in the THIRD inning.

    The point is that ALL pitchers have bad starts. Good pitchers aren't immune. You don't write off a guy's season success over a couple bad starts...

    There's no way Lindor gets the start if Polanco keeps going on his pace. Baseball fans have recognized that Polanco is doing better than LIndor this year. At this pace Lindor shouldn't even go to the all-star game. It should be Polanco starting with either Bogaerts or Anderson backing up.

    The news about Garver almost being ready to go is super exciting. Injecting a rested Cruz and healthy Garver into this line up is almost unfair.

    I'd rather have Cruz taking professional at bats in October at full strength than him taking painful at bats in May that could further deteriorate his recovery process.

    I dont see the reason to add stress on Castro and Garver by sending Astudillo down. Twins offense has been great with him. They're gonna need to rest Castro and Garver as much as possible to keep them fresh down the road. Arraez and Littel will benefit much more from playing in AAA than Astudillo will. Tortuga is a utility bench guy.

    I just don't think it's smart to send down our 3rd catcher when our primary catcher just got off the IR. Garver will not be able to do the catch/not catch/catch/not catch rotation for a couple weeks so he can get readjusted. You're gonna need Tortuga until Garver is at full strength. Keeping Astudillo up keeps stress off of both Garver and Castro. I think Littel should be sent down before Tortuga.
