    If he was a Yankee they would've had a national watch party during his at bats. Cutting into other games' coverage so they could show you his 2000th hit. Or they just would've made the game nationally televised. Also, thank god he never did become a Yankee. I would feel awful having to force myself to hate Joe. I mean I would've done it, but I wouldn't have liked it.

    Tell this to the Astros. They just won a World Series where the only thing their first baseman was effective at was using a racial slur

    I think part of that is the lineup that Houston has. I don't remember this much going for the edges against Baltimore and Pittsburgh. I do agree that they should lose this allergy they have to throwing strikes when they're up 0-2 in the count

    This is one situation where I really wish they would've made an attempt to bring Kintzler back. He would've looked good coming out of the pen and getting a GB double play on his first throw.

    To be fair, while Chargois has looked good, he's only faced 12 batters. Yeah he's gotten them all out but all it takes is one dirty inning and he's not going to be smelling of roses as much. I really think part of the concern on the Twins part was just has skill at staying hurt. I call it a skill because he sure practiced it a lot.

    I mean he's super human but not inhuman. Everybody chases at some point.

    I would definitely be more of a fan of trotting mejia out instead of phil. Too bad they're choosing starters by contract.
