  1. Close enough, should have given it to us.
  2. I like trevor. He seems to know a thing or two and has a good voice. Not real excitable, but definitely clear.
  3. The sayings , "Know your role, or stay in you lane", are descriptive IMO, of this Twins team. We have too many single hitters trying to hit homers. We have guys who fail to protect the plate on 2 strike counts, and guys who try to go deep on pitches they can't pull. What we have is a team of free swingers, with minimal and consistent power. I know may major leaguers feel that they need to hit the ball hard somewhere, and it will find a hole. But for many, the homerun swing results in missing the ball, popping it up, rolling over on it, and pulling your head off watching the ball. A more controlled approach, making solid contact, knowing when to chance driving the ball, could make a difference. While seeing the homerun is exciting, the flailing strikeout is not.
  4. For the record, I do not believe Rocco is the one making the decisions on Pagan. My apologies for making a general statement concerning Rocco's input on roster moves.
  5. I have to believe rocco has some input on roster moves. The FO makes the final decision, but I'm sure Rocco has some influence, or the FO may follow Rocco's lead on a deal or move hear and there. To think otherwise, is a little far-fetched.
  6. At least Joey can walk off the field with the game still undecided.
  7. Oh well...........the sun will rise, tomorrow.
  8. Polanco will keep it going. I'm sure of it.
  9. I thought they tore it down. Isn't it a parking lot, now?
  10. A lot of baseball left. Hope the bench is there, if needed.
  11. Yeah, we kind of take it for granted. But, even Gray is going to have an off day, but he's still pitching very, very well.
  12. If your defense isn't top notch, your offense better be, to cover up mistakes. Makes it very difficult to win.
  13. I see Kershaw is still with the team. saw him in the dugout, toying with a baseball.
  14. So far. Got a ways to go at the MLB level. so far so good, hope it continues. He seems like a good kid.
  15. Sound guarantee, with tomorrow an off day. LOL
  16. Twins showed a lot of character last night. After a tough loss on Monday nite, they played decent baseball, and beat a hot pitcher and future Haller, Kershaw.
  17. Now you can bring Jax in, for the ninth....................maybe.
  18. No, Twins have never won a WS game on the road in their 3 appearances.
