    In the MLB draft unlike any of the other pro sports drafts players are chosen not just on talent but on whether or not they can be signed and for how much. I think that is why we didn't draft Dickerson or Sanford instead of Debarge. Even Sloan would have been a good choice. Obviously being high school kids they would have wanted too much money. We only drafted one high school kid and that was Dasan Hall.

    The best three picks by the Twins in recent memory is Buxton, Kiriloff and Lewis all high school players. I'm not sure what the fascination is with college bats like Teel and Gonzalez. The last first round college bat was Lee and before that Sabato. The jury is out on Lee. Sabato has been an after failure. You pick talent and not whether they are college or high school.

    Clark is one of the 5 generational talents in this draft. They had better not settle for less. This team needs hitters. Teel is just an afterthought. Nothing more.

    For me either Langford, Clark or Jenkins at 5 would be fine. Lombard Jr at 34 and Kuehler at 49.

    Miranda will be playing third base not Urshela

    It is really really difficult to build strength in a wrist. He may never attain the kind of stardom the team anticipated when he was drafted. At this point they might be better off trading him especially if they can get a good return.

    No. Trade him for pitching. We have plenty if middle infielders.

    We spent a million dollars apiece for two prospects that signed earlier for a combined 1.3 million????
