I disagree.  Where's the bag?  In fair territory.  Where do you have to run to touch it?  Just saying....

 

 

I'm totally with you on that.  But in Nunez's case, he was still a good 6 feet from the bag and there's not much wiggle room for that with the running lane is there.  If he's a step from the bag, then there's more of a beef.  From a home plate umpire's perspective (and that's his call), he's looking right down the baseline and he sees Nunez FAR outside the running lane and thus makes that call.  It's always the first thing I'm asked if I happen to make that call.

 

Are you going dressed as a Twins player? Or are you going incognito? Personally, I never wear any sports gear. I'm there to watch, not cheer or be SEEN.

I always wear my Twins jersey, even if the Twins aren't playing.  The only exception is if I go to games on consecutive days - Twins jersey the first game, Twins t-shirt the second.
