Berardino: Pinto throwing again with no issues

Mike Berardino caught up with Twins catching prospect Josmil Pinto. As you recall, Pinto had a sore shoulder in winter ball and was eventually shut down. Berardino talked to him and it sounds like he's doing well:

 

Limited this offseason in Venezuela by another round of shoulder weakness, Pinto told me his shoulder has been ”doing better” of late. He started his throwing program around two or three weeks ago, working his way up to 90 feet.

Last week he was cleared to throw up to 150 feet at a time.
