Refusing to IL players

Rumor has it Roden is hurt, and they refuse to IL him? With ERod on the forty man? This year they've done it with Buxton, again, like previous years. Not ILd him right away, played short, and then ILd him later. 

They do this over and over, year after year, with players. Why? 

Buxton is clearly hurt. Roden is. Martin likely is.....

I agree with the premise of the post, but is Roden hurt or did they choose not to play him.  It sounded like the radio side was speculating but was there something else said.  As for Buxton is he hurt or just managing the the hip issue so it doesn't flare up.  That does make it harder just to IL if he doesn't feel he is injured.

Hopefully there will be a move for Martin today.
