Snarkier Than Reusse Verified Member Posted October 19, 2025 Posted October 19, 2025 Let's provide some help to Falvey and identify the types of experience the new Twins manager needs. To start the list, I have six types of experience and a candidate who meets them. 1. Experience with managing a team with a tight-fisted owner and mostly incompetent President and GM. 2. The ability to not scream "No!" when receiving the daily, analytic list of required in-game matchups the front office expects you to make. 3. Experience with being asked to develop young players who have not been taught baseball fundamentals while in the minors. 4. Knowledge and experience of what it's like to be a player on a team that has #1 - #3. Maybe something new like showing players you have their back and put them in situations where they have their best chance to succeed. 5. Experience with being blamed for and getting fired for having a losing record. 6. The new manager must have a great sense of humor, and an ability to break the tension in a long, losing season. That said, there can be only one: "Naked Man Walking" Mike Redmond https://throughthefencebaseball.com/marlins-hire-next-scapegoat-er-um-manager-mike-redmond/
Eduardo Tait Cedar Rapids Kernels - A+ C On Thursday, the 19-year-old went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Cedar Rapids. That gives him nine homers this season. Explore Eduardo Tait News >
