Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I'd be there every year if they did it on Saturday night. Coming from as far as I do, I'll go to Twins Fest Friday night and all day Saturday. I'd go if this was Saturday night. Instead, we should have some sort of TwinsCentric get-together at Park Tavern or JJs Clubhouse (that place was pretty slow that other Sat. ngiht we were there).
John Bonnes Site Manager Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 I could do something on Saturday. JJ's is fine with me. What time? Nick? Parker?
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I like that location. It's just off of 394, so not far from the Dome. Doogie and Judd and Howard live fairly close.
Parker Hageman Site Manager Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 The buzz on Twitter yesterday was that people (Commnman, TPA_Bill, Brandon Warne) wanted to do something in Roseville. For selfish reasons, I prefer the west-side of town. JJ's is just fine. Someone mentioned that Toby Keith's might be a good space during the day when it is less of a country bar. Either way, we should pick a venue and email it out.
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 My vote would be JJ's or Park Tavern at about 6:30-7 on Saturday night.
Nick Nelson Site Manager Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I'm pretty tired of Park Tavern. JJ's is good. I agree with Parker that I'd prefer to avoid going all the way out to the NE suburbs.
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Well, let's just call it then. JJ's Clubhouse, starting at about 6:30 on Saturday night. Do we need to contact them? Do we invite readers or just have bloggers?
John Bonnes Site Manager Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 To anyone reading this who hasn't heard, we're now meeting folks at Old Chicago in Roseville at 7:30.
