I think the offense is seeing the (mostly) dreaded regression to the mean.  Bader/Clemens won't stay as good, but fortunately Royce won't stay as bad.

No idea what is going on with Ober but it doesn't seem good.

Players make mistakes and so do umpires. This is not new. The umpires did not have much of a role in the game. The Twins struggle with offense and have all year. They also do not use the speed or small ball game. It is what it is and Toronto was better tonight.

A couple positives - Ober went 7 and didn’t use much of the BP, Lewis 3 for 3. 
 

In other news, this offense is frustrating.

Agree….. plus Pohlads don’t give a rat’s ass about the outcome. Some things never change
