Winter Meltdown Guests Will Get Two Free Craft Beers from BlackStack Brewing!

Twins Daily has always supported local craft beer. (Some nights, we admit we have supported it too much.) Since the Meltdown started in 2012, we've served two local craft beers to every guest. We've outdone ourselves this year by adding BlackStack Brewing as our official beer sponsor.

Yes, that means if you can grab a ticket (see below), you'll get two free beers to sip as we meet and greet our Twins special guests (announced next week) from your free Twins Daily Winter Meltdown Pint Glass (announced Friday). You can choose between their most renowned beers: their Local 755 New England IPA or the Slopes French Pilsner. 

We're stoked to include BlackStack's beer in the Meltdown. Local craft breweries can be known for location, environment, and variety, but BlackStack is known for its outstanding, intentionally crafted beer. Previously, that beer was limited to a few places outside its taproom, but now it is distributed all around greater Minnesota. Look for its distinctive cans wherever you buy beer…

OR, just come to the Meltdown! In addition to their two free beers, you'll also get all of the following:

1. Aaron Gleeman and John Bonnes will interview at least two guests on stage, who will also visit with our community. Previous guests include Kent Hrbek, Trevor Plouffe, Joe Nathan, Michael Cuddyer, and LaTroy Hawkins.
2. The event starts immediately after TwinsFest (Saturday, 1/25, 4-7 PM), less than a block from Target Field at Underground Music Venue. 
3. Entry into our door prizes, raffles, and games. 
4. Loads of Hot Stove camaraderie (or commiseration) as we get geared up for the start of the 2025 season. 
5. Food will be available for a special price from a place we'll announce tomorrow. 
6. Our specially designed Winter Meltdown Pint Glass – designed by Brock Beauchamp. You won't want to miss this when we announce it on Friday. I promise you: he has again outdone himself – it's even better than last year's design. 

The Winter Meltdown is an absolute no-brainer for any Twins fan, which is why we've had as many as 600 guests some years. The trick is making sure you get a ticket early before they sell out. Here's what you need to know:

This exclusive event has always been in high demand, and with only 200 tickets available this year, securing one won't be easy. Your best bet is to become (or know) a Twins Daily Caretaker because we take care of our Caretakers since they take care of Twins Daily. 

As a Caretaker, you'll receive one free ticket to the Meltdown and the option to purchase up to three additional tickets for just $20 each. If we have any leftover tickets (we did not last year), we'll make them available for $60 apiece to the general public.
