SydneyTwinsFan Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Rosario 2-4 with a 3B in the first game of the NB double header. Sano 0-fer with a K and 2 fly outs to CF.
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 I'm really surprised to see Sano struggle so much in AA.
Ncgo4 Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 They need to sit him for a game or two. Let him get his head together. He isn't just not hitting, he's looking very, very badly doing so. I watched the last 3 or 4 games (MILB) and he has struck out a bunch on slow pitches in the dirt where he's just flailing. his fly outs have not been line drives. No doubt he'll get over this, but he sure is struggling now.
Badsmerf Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Don't agree. Let him work through it. This isn't a physical thing, it is a mental thing and approach. He struggled last season for a stretch at Beloit before finishing strong and will do the same for NB.
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 He's still going to have work through the slump even if he sits for a game. He's going to figure it out so it doesn't seem like a big deal to give him a day off to clear his head.
