Erock Verified Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Quite the day for Cedar Rapids. Buxton 4/5 with a 2B and 3B but he's being outshined by Walker who is 4/5 with 2 2Bs and 2 HRs.

Buck still has at least 2PAs left to get a HR and complete the cycle (and possibly put the Kernels over 30 runs for the day!).
cmb0252 Provisional Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Berries with a poor outing. On the bright side Buxton's bat has finally woken back up and is currently, only the 6th inning, 4-5. Not to be out done Walker is also 4-5 but with two HRs. I know people want Buxton to be promoted but Walker, due to college experience, needs to be moved up first.

jokin Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Cedar Rapids putting up video game numbers vs Beloit. Walker and Buxton on fire! Loving it. Anybody else heading down to CR next weekend? Besides the aforementioned, I specifically want to see Berrios pitch (hopefully better than today- Next Friday start?), Polanco and Kane County's Rock Shoulders (Cubs April MiL Player of the Month).

Yeah I'm going down for a day trip over Memorial day weekend for one of the 2pm games. Not sure which day Berrios would be pitching....
BCTwins Provisional Member Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Berries with a poor outing. Well, I know that 3 ER and 3 BB over 4 IP is nothing to be excited about...but at least he didn't put up those lines of Hurlburt and Burris. Woof.

He will pitch May 18th or May 19th, they are going 6 man rotation and they have a DH on Wednesday. with the day off, I think he goes on the 18th.
