TKGuy Provisional Member Posted May 3, 2013 Posted May 3, 2013 LHP Corey Williams was selected in the 3rd round of the 2011 draft out of Vanderbilt University. In 2012, Williams with the Beloit Snappers, Williams posted a 4-4 record with 17 saves in 47 appearances, all as a reliever. He was also named a Midwest League Post Season All-Star. Williams was assigned to the talent laden Ft. Myers Miracle to start the 2013 campaign. Williams is off to a good start and has compiled 6 saves for the Miracle in 9 games. In those games covering 11 2/3 innings, Williams has walked 0 batters and held opponents batting average to .200. With the Miracle's record, Williams should be able to get plenty of save opportunities.
