After a brief stint in the majors in 2021, Nick Gordon broke out completely in 2022. His OPS increased by nearly 100 points, thanks to an emergence of some impressive raw power. Once a question to remain on the 40-man, Gordon should have a prominent role in 2023 and beyond.

Gordon was one of the few pleasant surprises in 2022. He should be in the lineup every day. Since he's got decent speed, perhaps they could have him bunting and stealing bases more in '23.

I love what Gordon did this year. He was finally healthy and produced. I love his speed, athleticm and ability to play multiple spots. He also seems to have a pretty good persona about him. Big fan after this year, let's hope it wasn't a flash in the pan and he can continue as a piece of this core for awhile.
