John Bonnes Site Manager Posted February 20, 2013 Posted February 20, 2013 Tom Powers has a full length story on Eddie Rosario. Turns out it was supposed to be done last June, but that was the day Rosario was hit by the BP line drive in the kisser. Standing on third base, ready for a leisurely jog home on the hitter's next swing, Rosario was caught unawares when a line drive was rifled down the line. It hit him squarely in the kisser, making a sound similar to that of a cantaloupe being struck by a sledge hammer. Down he went. And the next thing we knew there were sirens and tire screeches and general chaos. The kid was whisked to the hospital where a metal plate was inserted beneath his top lip and many of the small facial bones were reset. He missed six weeks, and the whole episode took several years off of the lives of the Twins brass. Well, some people will do anything to avoid an interview. http://www.twincities.com/sports/ci_22622345/tom-powers-twins-prospect-eddie-rosario-back-track
