John Bonnes Site Manager Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Brad Berreman at Rant Sports published an outlook for how the Twins look from a fantasy baseball perspective. I thought it was pretty balanced. I would think the "sleepers" would be Ryan Doumit (who is a better fantasy player than real player) and Aaron Hicks would be near the top of the list. Maybe also Chris Parmelee, if he's overlooked in your league. I especially liked this evaluation of the shortstops.... Shortstop- The Twins don’t have a clear-cut starter here, with Brian Dozier, Pedro Florimon and Eduardo Escobar all in the mix right now. Even if someone wins the job in spring training and keeps it through the season, fantasy owners can stay away from this situation and not feel like they missed anything.
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Doumit's got value due to position flexibility and especially as a catcher. Hicks will fill several categories if he's there... Other than Mauer, not much to draft for the Twins... Well, and Perkins.
