Friend of Twins Daily and Twins Daily contributor AJ Pettersen had his second article posted at Baseball America. As we approve Christmas and the holidays and the time to, hopefully, be spent with family, this article is tremendous. It speaks a lot to his relationship with friends and neighbors growing up, but especially about his relationship with his dad, and much more.

 

As I read it, I couldn't help but think of all my young years.If my brother or I asked our dad if he wanted to play catch, the answer was "Yes," the same answer my mom would give if we asked her. There was an empty lot on the next block from our house, and if we asked ever asked if he would hit us ground balls or fly balls, the answer was always yes. Another great article by AJ!

By the way, AJ told me that he's heading down to Ft. Myers right after the New Year. He plans on writing a series of blogs at that time. I, for one, look forward to it.

It's hard not to root for A.J. Regardless of what his baseball future holds, he's a guy you can talk to briefly and walk away thinking, "He's going to be a successful human being."
