Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Poor guy isn’t gonna get an out
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Help the young man get an out. We don't want a Fred Bruckbauer.
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Ok they're the only team tonight that is playing like they want the CentralI am sure the KC Royals would also like to win the Central!
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 What's next? Balk, wild pitch, double steal?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 On the other hand, maybe we can get momentum against a non-closer in the bottom of the 9th...
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Unraveling Standings aside, they just don't look like you want a team to right before the playoffs, and it's not exactly the getaway day lineup, either.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Reds will clinch tonight and still have something to play for, possibly passing the cardinals. Going to be a battle
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Homer Bailey must be laughing from... hey, can DFA’d players leave quarantine?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 What's next? Balk, wild pitch, double steal? Not necissarily in that order.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 What's next? Balk, wild pitch, double steal? Yes.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Yeah, I would have waited until this was a 4 run game to bring a rookie in...
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 What a nightmare start. Poor guy
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Now that the White Sox lost, the Twins don't need this game to win the Central. That seems to be Rocco''s mindset.
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Reds will clinch tonight and still have something to play for, possibly passing the cardinals. Going to be a battleI was going to say, passing the Cardinals wouldn’t do much, but I guess it would let them go to San Diego or the Cubs, instead of the Dodgers or Atlanta.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Please just get an out for the guy
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 What a nightmare start.I don’t see it that way at all! I see it as a nightmare relief appearance.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 I don’t see it that way at all!I see it as a nightmare relief appearance.Nightmarish end
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Alright Rocco. Time to bring in the big guns. Get Ehrie on the mound
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 I'm much less optimistic about the Twins' chances in the postseason than I was at 7 PM tonight.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 My first appearance in college went like this. Just couldn’t get an out. Always has a soft spot for situations like this
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 UnravelingTo prevent this in the future:
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Poor guyAt least Colina made about $3500 before taxes today.
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 This was an amazing team display of wretched clutch hitting and a manager throwing in the towel in a winnable game. Glad this was treated as a spring training game. And now Rocco wastes another pitcher. Let this guy roast now that you allowed him to give up 37 runs. Can't wait for them to finish third because there has been zero urgency at any point in the season.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Infinity ERADown to 81.00, but could be 162.00 if the runners on base score.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 At least Colina made about $3500 before taxes today. So it wasn’t a total loss
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 I'm much less optimistic about the Twins' chances in the postseason than I was at 7 PM tonight. As long as Colina doesn't pitch in the playoffs I think we'll have a chance.

Had a chance to bust it open early and squandered it. Story of the year
