Throw me a cookie, i'm in a slump.

 

They say nothing is so difficult as hitting a major league fastball, but try swing at the fastballs of fans expectation, and trying to swat all where the fielders aren't, so as we all get safely to first, second, third, and home after the game.

 

So i ain't exactly written many good intros this season. Case in point: i be this here metaphor is forced and gorunds into a double play. I might as well call the infield fly rule right now and put me out of my introductory misory.

 

Of course the wise course would have been to lay off this idea as the way outside ball it is and drive the next idea into the cheap seats...

 

That all said, you all, please use better metterphors than i!

My work and sleep schedule has been hectic lately, so I haven't seen many games completely, but I think I'll actually last through this one. I hear we've been doing pretty well recently? Chief must be using some black magic that he learned in person in ancient Mesopotamia. I also hear the opposing pitcher tonight is pretty good. Put the Curse of the Bomba on 'em, Chief, will ya?

I can't say I like our chances of winning this game... Bieber's on a war path, Hill looked bad last start, and the bullpen is gassed. But this is baseball, and the Twins have been able to win at a great pace, so who knows!

Sorry i let mlb pick the broadcast, and the shunted me to the home announcers.

 

They describe last year's team as a softball team. "Only thing missing was a keg at every base."

 

Which was said in good clean fun, and perhaps is complimentary in its own way. But still sounds weird to hear.
