What else explains Hughes' ignorance of his outside weakness? What are the batting coaches doing to earn their paychecks?

While on the surface it may seem ill advised to not inform them of this, with "younger players" they have so much on their plate to know what to expect from the pitchers that having another thought in their mind will only hurt them
