They're talking about Rickey Henderson. His success rate on stolen bases was not that great. Not bad, but he took his team out of scoring chances enough that his baserunning was not a big plus.

There's a fangraphs article about his 130 stolen bases in 1982. When you factor in caught stealing and pickoffs his base running was worth 0.7 wins on the season.

They got a decent start from Straily but the bullpen just imploded.

And I'm starting to believe the Twins lineup is good enough to command respect from any team in the league.

That also doesn’t factor in the threat of him running and how that disrupts the pitcher.

What did you get? Stopped there after the opener but I wasn’t impressed with the beer I got and it was too busy to get a flight.

I tried the Supra Deluxe ... It was an easy drinking rice based lager ... I liked it ... They weren't doing flights today, but I saw some people get samples ... It's so close to the stadium, that I'll probably try more.
