As I've mentioned here before, Corey Koskie started his website Linklete (http://linklete.com/) with this as kind of the mission statement:

 

 

Linklete is a website connecting people through the shared experiences of sports. The stories will inspire and encourage us as we navigate our way through youth sports. Linklete helps us be better sports parents and our kids be better players. Our contributors embrace adversity with stories of struggles, setbacks and triumphs that people can relate to.

 

He also recently started a podcast for the show. 

In this week's podcast, he interviewed Joe Mauer about growing up, youth sports, his parents and siblings and how they helped and competed, getting to the big leagues, getting hurt and recovering. Joe was really good and opened up. I enjoyed it.

I listened back to one of Koskie's other podcasts, his first one actually, and he told a couple of stories for him time in E-Town that had me equal parts laughing and scared. Ha!

I will listen to this. I enjoyed Joe's answers to the kids' questions on CCO. I think he might be coming out of his shell finally.
