OF/2B Candido Pimentel was named the Appalachian League player of the year on Thursday. He, and teammate Max Kepler, were the two E-Twins named to the league All Star team.

 

Pimentel is hitting .330/.403/.422 with 68 hits, 43 runs and 16 stolen bases.
