Plouffe

Here's to hoping Plouffe comes back healthy and hitterish. Headley has been ice cold for them Yankees and I would love to deal Plouffe for someone like Domingo Acevedo (their #7 prospect, 6' 7", throws 96-100 regularly and has hit 103).

 

 

I'm dying to see Sano play 3rd every day and get some value for Plouffe(Nolasco/Milone also).

I think you are dreaming with that return for Plouffe.  The rest of the league doesn't put much value on Plouffe as we saw in the offseason.

You're probably right-I'm just hoping a contending playoff team will get desperate and give up a prospect in the 7-15 range if he gets hot for a month.

In my opinion, Plouffe is both a fine player and as an everyday 3B on this team and hurting the team. I am not overly worried about the return.

 

Sano is on pace for a negative dWAR of 2, which is half his projected oWAR.  I would expect him to be closer to a 5-6 oWAR per year, with a dWAR close to 0 at 3B.
