I am in mourning… a week or more now. David Bowie was a great hero of mine. His music transcended the eras he was stuck in.

He was a forward thinker and for the most part his music was futuristic or at the least down, gritty and a curve ball at the time.

The world seems lesser now. At a time the air was fresh and consumable. Now it seems stale and what we, as a whole are stuck with.

Some may think that David Bowie has be gone for 30 years, but he has put out some very good stuff, whether it be “Tin Machine” or the solo stuff he put out in the 90’s.

His newest album, which he released days before his death, falls into the category of his greatest works. Blackstar is a gem and I will hold it dear to my being for the rest of my days.

Till he was at the end, he remained relevant, not many of his contemporaries can say the same. His final album “Blackstar” is a revelation and resonates within me.

Staring into the face of a dire and final end outcome, he shined as bright as could be, the brightest of all time.

I mourn David Bowies loss, but I celebrate it with great love and his endless influence.
