LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 The kid is contentto connecton a single. If anything he seems almost LESS likely to get overly aggressive in clutch situations. That's something that you'd be happy to see him add to his arsenal in the second half of his 20's. Having him show up with that ability to lay off bad pitches in key RBI situations already developing makes his rookie season that much more mind-bendingly great.
ScrapTheNickname Provisional Member Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Yes, Trevor (Oofda) Plouffe is one away from tying Killebrew at 28.Only 13 players have ever hit into 30 double plays in a year.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 It's really nice to see, for the first time in I don't know how long, to see a fly ball leave the bat and think, 'Oh, good, that's an out' instead of 'Oh, crap, single, double or triple?'
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Let's crank it up again fellas!!
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 I know the DP was disappointing, but Trevor Plouffe: last 7 days: .529/.579/.941 1.520 last 14 days: .350/.458/.575 1.033 Trevor's been more than pulling his weight lately.

formerly33 Verified Member Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 I have an idea. Trevor Plouffe should stop trying because when he does well, he raises fans' expectations to an unattainable level and then they are more likely to be disappointed when he GIDP. And, as an athlete, your best interests lie in living up to expectations and not disappointing fans. Correct?
