Twins Announce Spring Training Invites

The Minnesota Twins announced their major league spring training camp invites.

 

From the official press release: 

 

The Minnesota Twins announced today 18 players on minor league contracts have been invited to major league spring training camp in 2015.

 

Joining the Twins will be six pitchers: right-handers Jose BerriosTyler Duffey, Mark Hamburger and Adrian Salcedo; left-handers Ryan O’Rourke and Taylor Rogers; catchers Mitch GarverTyler Grimes,Dan Rohfling and Stuart Turner; infielders James BeresfordDoug BernierArgenis Diaz and Heiker Meneses; outfielders Byron BuxtonEric FarrisDanny Ortiz and Shane Robinson.

 

Of the 18 players, four have major league service time: Mark Hamburger (Texas Rangers), Doug Bernier (Twins), Argenis Diaz (Pittsburgh Pirates) and Shane Robinson (St. Louis Cardinals).

 

The Twins currently have 58 players scheduled to report to 2015 spring training.

 

As we found out yesterday, Jose Berrios let the cat out of the back early.
