I don't ever recall Hammer trying for the extra base with the Twins.

And maybe him getting out there is why.

Fine use of emotion with those exclamation marks, GCTF!   :)

I was scolded yesterday for my lack of exclamation marks. Plus Gardy was coming through loud and clear on the radio broadcast.

That was before Sabermetrics

 

It used to be... Don't make the 1st out at third because the guy at the plate can move you to third and don't make third out at third because a single can score you from 2nd.

 

Since Sabermetrics... That's all out the window. Now... You don't want to make an out at anytime... Ever.

 

Research suggests that you score more if you don't make an out.

No.. He wasn't... His boss took all the credit.

 

He's working on his next big idea. Research that proves that your golf score improves if you stay out of the woods and water.

 

And research that proves that Ice Cream tastes good.

While checking Minneapolis radar. I widened it out... And noticed an impressive storm rolled thru the Fond Du Lac area.

 

I'm guessing high winds and flooding.

 

I'm no meteorologist but I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express either.
