JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 i got there by clicking on the day and time of the last poster But that wouldn't necessarily be the last unread post if you'd been gone awhile. On the old site you could click an arrow and it would take you to the last unread post even if there were 20 posts after that. I like easy.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 There is a star to the left of the topic in the forum; click on that and it will take you to the first unread. Clicking on the date to the right of the topic will take you to the last post. I think. I tested this out and had this all figured out, but that was a couple weeks ago.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 i got there by clicking on the day and time of the last poster and my bad-- it was drock who asked the question I tried that earlier and it didn't work for me but it may have been before I marked all my forums as read so I'll try it again. Thanks.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 JB, there are links at the top of the page to take you back to the forum or to a different forum.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Okay, the star works if you go in and mark either the individual thread as read or just give up and mark the whole forum as read. I see the links at the top at right of center now, ChiTown so that's helpful but I'm not sure that I like that what is in the location is different in the forums than on the front page. On the front page, that is where you get to Jeremy's organizational chart and to the Roster & Payroll page. It would seem like it would be really helpful to have the quick and easy links to those 2 things when you are in the forums not just on the main page. (And I'm now violating the suggestion that I made that this thread be locked so all the comments could go on Brock's article about the new site).
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Please place comments and questions here. This thread will now be locked so we don't have multiple threads with 'how to' questions and comments.http://twinsdaily.com/topic/11880-article-welcome-to-the-new-twins-daily/?p=259807
