Thanks for this upbeat perspective, Parker. If you think that the Twins have a chance at the wild card, then this makes me more optimistic. I just wish that Mauer would get healthy and come back strong, and that some more of the young pitchers get their chances to show what they can do.

Parker, was reading elsewhere about Longoria's power outage this year. Any similarities between Mauer's struggles and Longoria's? I see his BA is only down slightly but his SLG and OPS are down more significantly.

 

I want the Twins to win but then I think that they will be caught in the trap of thinking they shouldn't be sellers -- and I really don't think that they are playoff caliber (or have much potential to be playoff caliber this year). I just want them to look at everything with a clear eye and not be confused by what they should do (regardless of what they tell the fans).

 

Always look forward to seeing what Spencer Tracy's look-alike has up his sleeve.
