Hot Stove League

This is a fun time of year when everyone looks ahead to the possibilities of their team adding new personal by trades, free agency, or the farm system. The Twins and their fans are no different. If you are a re-building team (see Minnesota), this is a time for hope. New players, new coaching staff-everyone is excited. Please tell me how Torii Hunter, WillyMo Pena, and 26 year old pitchers from Korea are supposed to give Twins' fans encouragement? I thought we saw this last winter. Do the name

Twins prospects excel in AFL final

The Twins' minor league prospects had a terrific game in the AFL final. Winners by a 14-7 score, 3 Twins had key roles. Taylor Rogers pitched 2 innings, only giving up a solo HR. Max Kepler was held hitless, but drove in the go ahead run with a bases loaded walk against a tough lefty. The real star, though, was Eddie Rosario, who went 4-5 with a homer and double. His only out was a shot to right in his last AB. What a great platform for these future stars!
