    How much confidence do you need with a 6 run lead? Yeah, Pressly was the right decision alright. He's been terrible most of the year. This was entirely predictable and likely preventable. I'm not even sure who was called up, but I think I would have had more confidence in them than Pressly this year.

    Who's talking about #1 option? Six run lead. S I X. 1,2,3,4,5,6 run lead. If you can't get 3 outs, or even 6, without giving up 6 runs, you shouldn't be on the roster. Yeah, bringing in Pressly sure has worked out well. And now thanks to Molitor's utter incompetence, someone from the Twins will get drilled next inning.

    Am I missing something? The Twins called up TWO fresh pitchers. There is now a SIX run lead. But Pressly is warming up? If Paul isn't going to use them, why bring them up?

    Because Molitor was supposed to not bring in Kintzler for the 9th? That's where the game fell apart. You can pick apart every litttle move from there on out if you so choose, but the bottom line is that Molitor handed his closer a two run lead and he blew it.

    I wouldn't be shocked if Vargas was optioned to bring up a pitcher. Maybe Gibson too. Tepesch or maybe Wheeler to make his next start. Figure at least two pitchers will come up though.
