  1. Well, you’re right, the defense is especially bad today
  2. Sano should have made a better attempt to catch that ball, if he makes contact with the base runner he could be called out for interference as he was inside the base line
  3. You’re absolutely right about the toothpaste analogy, and the rules changes will come in droves, but I really don’t believe they make the game better, just different.
  4. It’s more like, “Make that a double and don’t call me, I’ll call you”
  5. That’s the most ridiculous phrase I could think of
  6. That runner should have been called out, he wasn’t in the running area
  7. Well if all your concerned about is “trade value” then yes you should be concerned, otherwise just let him heal and give someone else a chance. It’s not gonna make a difference on the Twins season
  8. That attitude these days is that technology must be applied to everything possible because it’s better. You can’t disagree with that because the old way is just irrelevant. Of course it takes away a lot the magic but there is not a rational defense for that. Most of the time people can’t understand how you could even think that way, so it must be irrelevant too. So it is what is, it’s not unwatchable yet but it sure is different.
  9. Jax has just about hit his pitch count down to where you want it
  10. I can’t think of any rule changes that have actually made the game better
  11. So what now, Gordon to left and Arraez to third?
  12. Miguel didn’t strike out. It’s sad when hitting a lazy pop up to right is actually an improvement
  13. Yeah, going with that same failed Rick Anderson strategy
  14. This guy is not gonna strike anybody out with that fastball
  15. Hrbek would bunt when the thirdbaseman played back, they would not be able to shift on Hrbek
  16. If players would learn how to bunt and take the free hits that are always available, teams would have no choice but to abandon the shift
