Decent lineup today. No ****ty Plouffe.
  2. Yoshii
Also seems very lazy to do this.

wtf didnt we just sign him to two years? Why would we trade him? Hes like are one good player and the core of the team right now.
  4. Yoshii
The most important thing is they give our team a chance to win.

Why would we trade Morneau? Look at all his production this week alone, and the fans love him so much. Im sure he will be healthy forever now too. I am almost crying at the thought of him in another uniform.
  6. Yoshii
Weak arm in right, otherwise looks good.
  7. Yoshii
    hahahaha how disappointing.

They should just (edited) with him more and send him down again to single A. How often does that happened in such short of time? Its not like it matters, minor leagues are minor leagues.

Slama seems like the logical choice, doesn't really matter who you start between: Duensing Liam Swarzak anyone of these guys could be a 5th starter, I don't think it will make much of a difference in the long run win wise. I guess I like the idea of leaving Duensing in the pen.

The big question is why haven't we heard the DFA announcement about Marquis yet?
  11. Yoshii
Obv. he should be DFA, only a matter of hours now. No Rochester.

They should just put Morneau, Mauer, and Doumit in the outfield, call up Parmlee again, have Butera catch, DFA the Asian guy, and throw Willingham at third, Span at SS and Revere at 2b. Everyone else benched. Simple Solution, duh.

And Morneau needs to do more of that! Good to see though. edit: First back to back of the year?
  15. Yoshii
Its not like Butera has been hitting the ball terribly this year geez.
  16. Yoshii
Duensing would be next in line to start over Swarzak for sure.

I have no idea who this Gleeman and the geek" thing is, but I don't like most of the FSN broadcasters at all. I think they need to be realistic about the game and compare the twins as a whole with the rest of baseball. Its tough though, cause what they get paid to do is be positive and only talk about the Twins.

I agree with the article, what do we have to lose? And how much of a chance has he really gotten? None. 14 pitchers here we come.
  19. Yoshii
Because he has played the best defense of any Twin so far and the staff values that. I think he needs to be on the field somewhere, whether its 2B, SS, or 3B. Out defense is so ****ty everywhere else.

You must be mad that you dont have a signed vintage Torii Hunter cap.
  21. Yoshii
Its worth a ton of money now.

Happened to get 4 dugout box seats for the Twins game on Monday, 5/7. Sat down for about 5 minutes (Sec. 14 Row 8) and noticed Torri Hunter signing merchandise down by the third base line. I jumped over a few seats, rushed down a few stairs, and budged in front of some white bitches to get my Twins cap signed. All I said to him was, "nice home runs the other day." Torri just nodded his head and smiled. Pic of "signed" hat coming soon. Any offers?

Nick - First off, nice article I know we are paying attention to k's but it would be nice to compare FIPs there too, to see if fielding has had any impact. Also...maybe Diamond can continue this?! lol sample size.

I would like to purchase: Zach Greinke for 5 yrs/$ 87.5 million Colby Lewis for 6 yrs/ $100 million Anibal Sanchez 3 yrs/35 million Cole Hamels 1 yr/ 10 million Lets give Liriano another shot in 2013 as our 5th starter. See all we have to do is spend more money, how hard is that?
  25. Yoshii
Well said Nick. At least it will be a nice night tonight going to the game.
