  1. ha man its about potential.. Gordon and Jay do have a lot of hype, both top 10 picks within last 2 years and Gordon is 19 years young can't drop him because an average offensive year according to wRC+
  2. wow we were mad because we didn't think you'd throw javier in.. apologies.. I've heard Vielma has the best glove seen in minors since Simmons so I'm totally good with this ranking, especially his finish. probably woulda had Thorpe up, he's 19 still and already played full season ball. i have him ahead of Stewart for sure. can't wait to see Javier rise as the years go. Thorpe as well
  3. i knew Nicky G had a good second half but didn't realize he had .763 OPS over that time.. thats why his upside has him at his rankings. also happy 20th Bday Nick
  4. 1) Byron Buxton AAA 2) Jose Berrios AAA 3) Max Kepler AAA 4) Tyler Jay A+ 5) Nick Gordon A+ 6)Jorge Polanco AAA 7) Stephen Gonsalves A+ 8)Adam Walker AAA 9) Lewis Thorpe A+(after maybe a little rehab start in A) 10)Kohl Stewart AA 11)Alex Meyer AAA 12) Nick Burdi AA 13) Chargois AA 14)Felix Jorge A+ 15)Taylor Rogers AAA 16) Travis Blankehorn A 17) Jermaine Palacios A 18) Mitch Garver AA 19)LaMonte Wade A 20)Wander Javier DSL 21) Fernando Romero A 22) Stuart Turner AAA 23)Travis Harrison AA 24)Engelb Vielma AA 25) Amaurys Minier A 26)Aaron Sledgers AA 27) Levi Michael AAA 28)Tanner English A+ 29) Mason Melotakis A+ 30) Jake Reed AA 31) Sam Gibbons A+ 32) Ryan Eades AA 33)Zack Jones AA 34) Brandon Peterson AAA 35) Lachlan Wells E-Town 36) Jean Carlos Arias GCL 37) Lewin Diaz E-Town 38) Navarreto A 39) Niko Goodrum AA 40) Randy Rosario A
  5. Thorpe very underrated.. the kid was 18 in A ball throwing 90's and had like a 10/9 K rate.. i believe he's a top 5 prospect at the end of the year, maybe top 3. Vielma is good but not top 10 until the bat comes a little bit more to me anyways
  6. Buxton, Berrios, Kepler, jay, Gordon, polanco, gonsalves, walker, Thorpe, Stewart, Meyer, Burdi, chargois, Jorge, Rogers, Blankenhorn, Palacios,Garver,Wade, Javier, Romero, Turner, Harrison, Vielma, minier, Sledgers, Michael, English, Melotakis, Reed, Gibbons, eades, jones,Peterson, Wells, Arias, Diaz, navarreto, batts, goodrum.... That's my top 40
  7. seth if we didn't have different opinions it'd be boring and none of us would learn anything interesting! you've done a great job doing your countdown
  8. haha don't get too excited here pal I agree Wander Javier getting the big 5M should definitely make top 30... its about potential right? the 16 year old looks like he could be a beast... and Arias has the speed, power and low K% that a lot of big prospects can't put together.. it'd be cool if he continues.. hope he does it in the GCL this year
  9. also to take the pressure off the catcher rankings Situation... how close was Jean Carlos Arias to making the top 50? i believe we signed him last summer and he played way above expectations in DSL... 17 years old and hitting well is what i love to see
  10. Correct Jorge's age, he'll be 22. a whole year can change a person's prospective on a prospect. Also i just don't understand the whole Navarreto, the way he hits he will never touch a big league field. Turner has roughly the same throw out % as Garver and Garver hits a ton better so i feel Garver should be ahead of him... like the ranks of Rogers, Blankenhorn and Jorge though for sure
  11. I have no clue why you move Diaz up that much, he didn't even play good and isn't good Defensively.. Him over Garver doesn't even make sense
  12. This list is really good, nice job profiling.. I'm starting to believe Garver is the catcher who makes it to the MLB though, turners bat is too slow and Garvers defense is getting pretty good from what I hear. If that power comes back he could be a solid starting catcher in 2017. Also English putting up solid numbers again, looks like there's 4-5 tools there hope he maxes them out. Cederoth overrated on every list I see.. I see him as a thrower more than a pitcher
  13. you're comparing him to a guy who had a a K% over 25% with those great numbers in 2014.. he was bound to fall.. Wade's .320 BABIP is easy to replicate, Murphy's .400 BABIP was not.. Murphy did still have wRC+ of 91 in 2015 so it wasn't all that awful... but you're right they're almost all shots in the dark
  14. I think Michael and Wade are both underrated.. Wade put up crazy numbers along with playing CF and that plate Discipline I woulda ranked him around 20-25 and Michael's .800 OPS in 78 AA games and improving slg% Id have him around 30..
  15. 24 year olds that are moving through the system quick.. Dozier didn't play in the MLB until he was 25 and these guys going to AA are 1 good year away possibly, Michael sooner than that i think if he hits like he has but stays healthy
