    Huh??????? Comparing Baker to Lincecum??? Comparing Blacky to Detroit's pitching?? Do you honestly think Leland would even bother to have cannon fodder like Blacky pitch for him? I am a Baker fan when on the field which is never. The pathetic thing about these pitchers is they make half their starts in the most fly ball friendly park in the league and still produce below mediocre numbers. You should tell Terry Ryan to call Sabean and offer Baker for Lincecum because your cute little stat says they are equal pitchers. HaHaHa

    The Twins have 2 #3/#4 in Baker and Liriano. A #5 starter on any other team in Pavano. And 2 guys who have no business being anything other than a AAA starter or a long reliever on a minimum contract in Marquis and Blacky. I was looking around the majors to try to find a worse rotation and I only found a couple candidates: Astros (easily better than twins if they hadn't moved Myers to the pen), Royals (much higher potential with Sanchez, Duffy, Montgomery but overall close). This is going to be a PATHETIC year. Might as well bring Liam up and let him take his lumps as opposed to give any meaningful innings to bench fodder like Marquis and Blacky. THIS HAS A CHANCE TO BE THE WORST ROTATION IN BASEBALL HISTORY!!!

    I think you crushed PMAC on twitter last nite. The "journalists" are so biased towards the club to make sure they can stay on the "inside". They are afraid to criticize if it means they potentially lose their job. Bottom line: the journalists are concerned that bloggers are doing their jobs BETTER! I appreciate the honest assessments we get on this site and other blogs where the Twins aren't just always applauded when at times they should be booooed. Keep up the good work.

    Blacky couldnt crack the rotation on any other AL team. No team would give a bag of balls for him unless the Twins ate his entire contract. You must not watch regular season games if you think Blacky belongs in the Bigs.

    If Hughes has any major role on this team we can all start speculating on the #1 overall pick in the 2013 draft. Hughes, Marquis, Blacky, Carroll, Butera, etc couldn't start for most AAA clubs yet Gardy will play them cuz they are NICE. 100+ losses appear to be a given!

    Exhibit A why Terry Ryan should be fired. The game has passed him by. Terry: starting pitcher wins, rbi, and being nice are no reason to sign players. I wish the Twins had one person in the FO in touch with the 21st century.

    The Twins should be ranked lower than 22. Their top pitching prospect (Liam) only has #4 starter upside, how pathetic is that!!! The twins will never win a playoff game until they develop some high upside starters. You can sign veteran free agents for league minimum salary who are better than Liaam at his peak so why bother drafting these soft tossing BUMS?

    The problem is the Twins philosphy. They never sign power hitters or pitchers because these players dont fit Gardy's way of thinking. Without power pitchers you will never win a playoff series which the Twins have proved correct. I hope they change their thinking soon. The only reason we were able to sign the power bat Sano is because other teams know he is 4 years older than he claims and the Twins failed to do their homework. A player of Sano's age should be in AAA not ETown.

    Terry Ryan is a joke! To give Marquis a guaranteed deal and to give up a Supplemental 1st rd pick for Crapps makes him look like the laughingstock of MLB. I can't wait to see other gm's fleece him in trades this summer while he tries to acquire "nice guys". This team is doomed unless they bring in a gm that understands sabermetrics instead of focusing on character. Seth: I love your podcasts but you are becoming too much of a homer and are losing touch with reality. This team will never again reach 80 wins with the inept Terry Ryan in charge!!!!
