  1. First -- this is such a joy to read -- the setup then the results. Seth is an amazing writer. Second, this is 100% less depressing than last night's report. I am thrilled that Rochester finally won for a change, and there was a lot of icing on that cake.
  2. I stumbled across this interview today, which I think addresses many of the questions that have been raised in these forums. I am at work now and have no time to say more, but think that many of you may want to comment on your reactions to this.
  3. Welcome to TD, Andrew. You are off to a good start. I look forward to seeing more from you.
  4. Thanks for the well-written (but somewhat depressing) report. I hope that the system fares better tomorrow, especially Rochester.
  5. According to the Twins website and CBSsportsline.com, tonight's game has been postponed for rain. I suppose that John and his blond goddess avatar will have to think of something else to do tonight.
  6. I think that the the Angels' rally monkey is MLB's master scheduler.
  7. Thank you for complying with TD policy!
  8. Is the weather going to cause this game to be postponed?
  9. Thanks for this report. What a great day for the Twins system, except Rochester, and even Rochester provided good news with Gibson's performance.
  10. I despise that feces throwing fleabag more than words can express.
  11. I am going home now to watch the Angels broadcast. I hope that the Twins are ahead when I get there.
  12. Vargas has thrown 71 pitches. Let's hope he starts throwing some meatballs.
  13. Looking at this on the internet it appears that the ump is calling balls when Pelfrey is throwing strikes.
  14. A double play would be nice at this point.
  15. Dozier made the pitcher throw 10 pitches -- doing a decent job as the leadoff hitter.
  16. I like the crabby woman. Crabby women are challenging but can be a whole lot of fun if you can find their sweet spots. Plus, she is a gymnast, which seems like a very good thing. That said, I like the blond goddess the best, even though she was ineffective against the Mets.
  17. Another excellent report. The poor start in Rochester is worrysome. I wonder if the contract will be renewed there if the team keeps losing.
  18. I agree that Correia deserves a lot of credit. I also think that Terry Ryan may deserve some credit for identifying Correia's potential.
  19. Except the Angels. I am feasting on their postgame show.
  20. She indeed makes great icing on the cake. She was also pretty effective in making me feel less bad when the Twins were playing the Mets.
  21. That was a very nice win. Let's hope that the Twins can keep playing like this.
  22. Nice catches by Mastro and Dozier. Now only one last Angel to retire.
  23. Moonroof only -- the convertible needs an engine rebuild that I never have time to accomplish.
  24. I had to go work for 75 minutes or so and am glad to see that the Twins are winning and that the thread is filled with joy. Now I am going to drive home with a very positive attitude and hopefully catch the 9th inning.
