  1. I was gonna say that you're both forgetting Livan Hernandez in the aforementioned list but his 5.48 ERA in 2008 wasn't thaaaaaaaaaat bad. Still pretty bad. Kevin Slowey was pretty bad in his final season in 2011 as well. Sporting a 6.67 ERA
  2. Great work Heezy. Glad this got promoted to a article. Good info and great read for everyone.
  3. Great game. Good 7-3 road trip that could've easily been more. Hopefully it rolls over to a good homestand. 6 out of 9 would be nice.
  4. Noooooooooooo. I did. Tone gets lost in forums though.
  5. A .324 hitter that had been hitting .181 in limited at bats since the walk off in Puerto Rico on April 18th. It's not like the Twins just sent down Lou Gehrig because Wally Pipp was back from injury. They sent down a player with prior to this season had two big league hits to his name at age 29. Now, should have Lamarre been starting more instead of Grossman in the outfield, yes. But I'm kind of "meh" about him being sent down.
  6. As long as his bat gets anywhere near the production that Grossman's bat had been giving (bar is set low), it's a net positive when factoring in Buxton's defense.
  7. Just in case you've forgotten to speak Minnesotan/Upper Midwestern in your time gone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vm-MrkoJPC8
  8. I'm assuming because this is because he slashes .316/.363/.561 in 28 career games vs the Twins. Including 7 home runs?
  9. Something about double switches and pitchers batting.
  10. Maybe give him a ticket for the light rail so he can head to the MSP airport. But he'd probably take a weird route on a routine trip and drop the ticket in the process.
  11. The breaks were falling the Twins way early last night with those 2 consecutive wild pitches/passed balls thrown by Lopez. Then they just stopped falling the Twins way.
  12. Man they need Buxton back quick so we don't have to be subjected to Grossman's "defense". Think I'd rather watch Delmon Young play right field than Grossman.

  14. One could suggest it could be used when Rodney pitches a clean inning too. But it would be used far less often.
  15. Didn't expect to be THIS wrong. Nor to I expect it to continue. Just need to start hitting better than .194 with RISP and pitch better. You know. Easy stuff.
  16. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnIaqAsnSxU As much as I want Molitor to do something akin to the above video, the sun did rise in the east this morning, the Minnesota Twins will play baseball today (barring a surprise blizzard), and they still have 139 chances to win another 80+, with 55 more against the Royals, White Sox and Tigers. Looks bleak right now, but I think better days are just around the corner.* *At least that's what I'm telling myself
