  1. That's actually the plan after I finish eating my bachelor chow.
  2. Serious question (I'm sorry about being serious for a second): How about trying out Ryan Presley as a starter? At least, maybe in ST.
  3. I just turned on the game and saw the score. I assumed it must have been the 5th or 6th with a score of 7 - 0 and it being an hour into the game... then the top of the 3rd was over.
  4. Sorry, Olivia. You only seemed to help Parms tonight. Everyone else failed to notice you were there.
  5. Nope. I wasn't fishing. I just thought Glunn would like to know. Don't worry, you seem like an ok guy too... sometimes.
  6. I knew that was an ironic like.
  7. Of all the likes I've received on my posts, 85% come from Glunn. Thanks for making me feel valued.
  8. Yeah, I heard that. As soon as I heard them say that, I thought: "Really? I've given up on that idea."
  9. The best thing about my refrigerator right now: It's full of beer. I probably won't get to say that tomorrow if the Twins keep batting this way with runners in scoring position.
  10. I posted too soon. Doumit is trying to create off-season trade value.
  11. The Twins have scored a run on Fister and Tonkin just got Prince to fly out.
  12. Hey there gang. Back from class and ready to post.
  13. I think the problem was the glare coming from the batter's eye. I don't know how many remember, but there was shiny green paint behind those trees. They have since painted it flat black. My guess is that the tree would be safe to bring back now that the paint isn't reflecting so much light. To agree with others, bring back the trees.
  14. I'm aware they're playing good teams. But St. Louis already clinched a playoff spot, so if they lost a game or two to the Cubs, it wouldn't hurt them (besides possibly changing who they match up with in the playoffs). But, I know. Hoping the Cubs win game is a strange feeling and I hope that I never do this again. And in reality, I don't think there's really any way that the Twins end up with the #4 pick.
  15. You're right that the Twins are only a half game behind, but in the event of a tie, the Cubs would get the better pick because they had the worse record last year. I'm really hoping the Cubs step it up and win some games. I think you're absolutely right though, I think it'll be hard for the Twins to get anything worse than the #5 pick. Seattle does have 3 games against KC and then 3 games against Oakland. Hopefully Oakland rests some of their starters now that they've already clinched.
  16. And Arcia seems to have forgotten that he needs to stay on the base.
  17. Dozier seems to believe this game is not done.
  18. Yup. I have tickets for tomorrow night's game. It's going to be interesting.
  19. It's hard to watch this game when there are football games on. Especially when fantasy football games are on the line.
  20. The Cubbies lost today, so it looks like the Twins are trying to keep pace with them.
  21. At least Arcia hit a 3-run dinger today with another RBI single to boot.
  22. Wow. Not a lot of posts for this game.
  23. Great article, AJ. It's a really neat perspective and thanks for sharing it with us. Feel better soon!
  24. Now we need to Cubs to start lighting it up so we can get pick #4 next year. I never thought I'd say this, but Go Cubbies!
