    Angels traded Aybar too. So they are definitely expecting to land a 3b via trade.

    And I do not want to see Milone anywhere in this team. Milone has done nothing but surpass ignorantly low expectations since he has been here. Arguably the best value in our rotation.

    LF Rosario CF Buxton RF Rasmus 1. Rosario was great in left. Why mess with that? 2. If Bux starts in AAA, he'll just light it up like he did this year and force his way up. I give it three weeks. What's the point? 3. TR is on a mission. Supposedly the ooh lads gave him "carte blanche" (don't remember where I read it but I for sure saw that somewhere). He's trying to posture right now and it's kind of transparent but I really think there's lots more to come. 4. Sano is at 3b because let's not be stupid.

    Now that the dust has settled somewhat, and we're all ready to throw dirt on Murphy apparently, it seems clear that Murphy isn't our catching upgrade. He's an upgrade over Hermann, and maybe there's a smidge of a chance that he fits into our future. I don't think we're done looking for an everyday catcher. I think we're in for a lot of big moves. Which is pretty weird.

    Everyone should probably try not to forget that Hicks was unanimously worthless until August 2015. Probably got a good deal in that light.

    I don't think this means our OF is set, and I certainly don't think it spells Sano in RF. I think this probably means we're going after Rasmus, or something like that.

    I'd trade Buxton. No telling what you could get back for him. That could seriously alter the trajectory of this team.

    With all the talk about positional log jams and young, talented players being blocked, i cannot believe how the Plouffe supporters are coming out of the woodwork right now. Plouffe is, like, okay. I think if you can find somebody who wants him and is willing to take Nolasco as a part of whatever the deal is, you go for it. We just need to open up some space. He really isn't going to be missed that sorely.

    Sano is NOT going to be a poor defender at 3B. His arm is an A+. He's got good hands. Plouffe was garbage at 3B at first, but he came around. No reason not to give Sano the same chance.

    This Sano as an outfielder stuff is sooooooo stupid. We FINALLY have a superior defensive OF (that can hit, no less), and we're going to just plug Sano in LF where he's never played? Plouffe is gone. Sano is on 3rd. There is no other way.

    This doesn't seem like a huge step forward. I think we'll all be pleased if he hits more than 20 HR, so basically, we've found a replacement bat for Torii. There must be something else going on.
