    That’s a pitch someone nicknamed the “bringer of rain” should occasionally hit to the moon. Instead he pops up to the infield. I wish he’d pull a Nishioka and gracefully ask out of his contract

    Funny how Fenway can be as much of an intimidating place to play as Yankee stadium, but the twins are always competitive here

    Polanco did have a huge K with the bases loaded and 1 out, but Sheesh. That guy has three walkoffs THIS WEEK. He’s the most clutch player on the team. Donaldson, on the other hand, has been largely a disappointment in those situations the entire year (to put it very mildly). On top of that, after chirping about Cole, he was thoroughly dominated by the Yankees pitcher again. Now 0-6 with 4 K’s since his cole comments. He really showed him!

    There is simply no way one team should win this often against another in the sport of baseball. Football, I can see it as talent usually wins out. But not baseball. It’s completely mind blowing and terribly frustrating

    Yeah I’m not gonna bet on Barnes, Jax, Ober, oft injured Pineda and inconsistent Maeda to get us competing for a division title. Same with the just acquired prospects. Not for next year anyway
